Here’s the deal, Sanctuary Charlotte Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Sanctuary is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Belonging: Everyone needs to feel a sense of belonging. Despite how you look or where you come from, in your heart, there’s a desire for an assurance that you are wanted and someone cares. That is the church. That is Sanctuary. No pretense, just humility. No conjecture, just acceptance. Join our multi-cultural community of believers. It’s a personal experience with a common goal—to grow in relationship to Jesus Christ.

Simple: We tend to make simple things in life really complex, including the church.  At Sanctuary Charlotte Church, the church is straightforward and relevant to our everyday experiences.  The pressure is off—no stress, no intimidation—just Jesus.

We keep church simple, show God’s goodness to everyone and share the sincere truth of God’s word.  Join our multi-cultural community of believers. Sanctuary Charlotte Church was started in 2007 by Pastor Percy Reeves with a handful of families. Back then, these families imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone – where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. Sanctuary moved to its current location in 2017.

What’s the bottom line? More than ever, Sanctuary Charlotte Church is committed to fostering a family built around hope.

And as we move forward as a church family, inclusion and belonging remain at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
