Personal Statement

I have always been aware of the power, grace, and favor of God in my life. Through joys and sorrows, amazing highs and near devastating lows I have found what my ancestors before me found – that God is faithful and what a friend we have in Jesus!

God’s grace, power, and faithfulness still molds and shapes my life and my perspective about life. It is inspiring, consoling and mentors me every day.

I believe in God, not as a conceptual framework put forward by the “church”,  but as a personal, reliable and dependable presence in every season. And I believe God’s character is most fully expressed through God’s victory in Jesus through the cross. That pattern is OUR pattern: new life and victory out of death and defeat! THAT is the message I am assigned to proclaim!
